Short Answer
Sonority gives you a 14‑day free trial of Pro, then switches to a paid Pro subscription (monthly or yearly) billed securely via Stripe unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Long Answer
When you first create a Sonority account, you automatically start a 14‑day free trial with full access to all Pro features. During the trial you can add instruments, set up maintenance, try tour tools, explore maker workflows, and use AI‑powered research and valuations without committing to a paid plan. The goal is to let you build real workflows so you can see whether Sonority fits your rehearsals, sessions, or touring life.
Before your trial expires, you can choose between a monthly or yearly Pro subscription. Monthly Pro gives you flexibility if you prefer to stay month‑to‑month, while yearly Pro usually offers better value if you know you’ll use Sonority long term. All payments are processed securely using Stripe, a leading global payments platform, so your card details are handled according to industry‑standard security practices.
If you don’t want to continue, you can cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged. If you do nothing, your account will automatically move onto a Pro subscription at the end of the 14 days and Stripe will charge the payment method you provided for the selected billing period. If your trial ends without upgrading, your access to Pro features and new data entry will be limited until you start a subscription, but your existing data will not be immediately deleted. You can return later, start a Pro subscription (monthly or yearly), and pick up where you left off.
You can also switch between monthly and yearly Pro after you have subscribed. Changes usually take effect from your next billing cycle, and Stripe will handle the updated billing schedule automatically based on your new choice.
